Basic Leadership School

The BLS is a hands-on leadership development programme for those who either feel they have leadership potential or those who want to be empowered to disciple others. As a participant of BLS you will receive some excellent instruction on biblical leadership, have opportunities to develop your gifting as you serve others like Jesus did and finally be mentored and coached in a supportive Christian environment. You will be learning and practicing leadership simultaneously. 

A leadership crisis exists both in the body of Christ and in the world. There is a cry for leaders who will walk the talk, leaders exemplifying true servanthood, who lead from the front. Paul in 1 Tim 3:1 says “to aspire to leadership is an honourable ambition”, provided we aspire to the model of leadership Jesus provided. If you have such an ambition, then the BLS is worth considering

As a "BLSer" your internship involves staffing any one of our schools, or being a part of some one of our ministries to give you the hands-on experience. Our BLS intake dates are August, January and June of each year and is around 18 months in length. The course is registered with the University of the Nations as a Basic Leadership Seminar and is eligible for up to 12 credits, and it's registered with the Institute for the Nations, Australia as a Certificate IV in Christian Missions Leadership.
