SchoolsSchool of Biblical Christian Worldview (SBCW)Course : School of Biblical Christian WorldviewStart Date : Sunday, July 03, 2011 Contact : sbcw.wiler@jmem.ch Base : YWAM WilerDescription :Come to Switzerland and do the School of Biblical Christian Worldview (SBCW) at YWAM Wiler! What is the School of Biblical Christian Worldview? To have a biblical worldview means to see the world "through God’s eyes". If you want God to challenge you to have clearer vision, the SBCW is the right place for you. We believe that God and His Word is the standard which should form us and our value system. The Good News of Jesus Christ is about much more than personal salvation. We believe that a biblical view of reality is effective in all areas of society. It generates and transforms life – and it transforms society! We want to discover how we can meet the challenges of the 21st Century with a perspective of hope.
1. Analyze the thought and belief systems which have formed our thinking. 2. Learn to think biblically. 3. Learn to apply biblical Christian thinking in the various spheres of life and society.
"The SBCW awoke an active interest in politics in me. I never realized how important it is for us to be participative and have a voice." ”The SBCW has shown me how important it is to think through my own worldview on the basis of my belief system. It was exciting to have the opportunity to work through ethical, political and societal issues on the basis of the Christian faith and it showed me that I don’t just want to live my Christianity in the church but that it is also fun to think through current affairs. And the Bible has something to say about it!” ”The SBCW helped me to be able to generally evaluate things that I face daily. And it offered me a good basis for refining that evaluation ability – a process that is never complete in life … “ ”The SBCW was the tool that God used to wake me up from living out a narrow-minded and hidden Christianity.” ”The school was not simply over for me after three months – I work with what I learned in the SBCW in my everyday life.” -> Visit our Webpage: www.sbcw.ch |
