Description :

The first in a series of courses taught as the School of Biblical Studies (SBS). The SBS consists of three courses which survey the whole Bible using the inductive approach. The student learns to study the Scriptures for him or herself, observing what they say, and then letting them shape his or her belliefs. During this first in the series many of the books in the new testament are studied.

This course is interchangable with Biblical Studies Core Course. Where qualifications require Biblical studies core course Biblical Studies 1 can be taken in its place.

On completion of Biblical Studies 1 students may continue on to Biblical Studies 2 and 3 and the Biblical Studies Field Assignment.
